Policy Advocacy, Networking and Campaigns
C4RH is progressive national advocacy group that engages cultural conservatism (particularly religion), actively promotes gender equality and women’s rights (including sexual and reproductive health and rights or SRHR), and campaigns against discrimination & gender-based violence. Since its inception in 2011, it vigorously lobbied for the passage and later the proper implementation of RA 10354 or the Responsible Parenthood & Reproductive Health Law. C4RH was an Intervenor in defending the constitutionality of the RPRH Law during the Supreme Court hearings; challenged the registration of the religious-backed Prolife Partylist in the congressional elections based on the principle of the separation of the church and the state; questions discriminatory laws based on gender.
C4RH is a member of the Reproductive Health Advocacy Network (RHAN), Alternative Budget Initiative (ABI), and regularly attends the sessions of the National Implementation Team (NIT) of the RPRH Law.
